Effect: You show the audience a folded piece of paper on which you have written a prediction. The paper is left in full view. Now a volunteer selects a card from the pack. With this card on the table the prediction is read out "You will choose a red card". But obviously something is wrong, the card chosen is a black card (e.g. Jack of Clubs). The worried magician now turns over and spreads the rest of the blue backed pack. He then turns over the selected card to show it has a red back. The card chosen was the only red card in the pack!
